Music & Art
Art provides a way for children to express themselves and strengthen their understanding in other academic areas. Friday’s curriculum is focused around Music, Art, and Movement.
Second Step
Second Step teaches social and emotional learning for skills on friendship, empathy, emotion management, and problem solving.
Zoo-Phonics
Incorporates body movements for every letter sound and uses animals in the shape of the letter to help children remember and retain letter sounds. While using this program many of our students have been able to learn all of their lower case letter sounds within the first 10 weeks of enrollment.
Engage NY
Engage NY is a high-quality curriculum used in many local school districts as well, that focuses around the common core standards. It builds a strong foundation in Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
